The Crisafulli Government is committed to strengthening regional and remote communities by ensuring access to reliable and affordable transport. To achieve this the Department of Transport and Main Roads is starting community consultation to gather feedback on current aviation services.
Donna Kirkland MP, State Member for Rockhampton, encourages residents and organisations in Rockhampton and Gracemere to share their experiences with regional air travel – whether as regular passengers, service providers, or community advocates.
“This is a vital opportunity to make sure our voices are heard,” Kirkland said.
“Reliable and affordable transport is more than convenience – it’s essential. I want to hear directly from our community about what’s working, what’s not, and what we need moving forward.”
All feedback will be presented directly to the Department of Transport and Main Roads, contributing to the broader consultation process.
Donna Kirkland MP’s goal is to help deliver better outcomes for regional Queenslanders and ensure value for money – not only for the Rockhampton Electorate, but for communities across the state.
Let’s work together to build stronger, more connected communities.
