Everyone deserves to be safe in their own home, but Queensland communities are still reeling from Labor’s
youth crime crisis.
I’m proud to be part of the Crisafulli Government’s eForts to restore safety where we live with stronger laws,
more police, early intervention and rehabilitation.
While our Adult Crime, Adult Time laws are working to restore safety across our communities, including a
7.2% drop in victim numbers across Queensland, the next step to putting the rights of victims ahead of
the rights of offenders is to strengthen our bail laws.
Too many youth criminals are being arrested and going before the courts, only to be released on bail where
they’re free to commit more serious crimes in our communities.
These young offenders need to be held accountable for their actions. I expect it and so does our community.
I am fighting to expand Adult Crime, Adult Time to Labor’s flawed bail laws for serious repeat offenders.
Do you agree we need stronger bail laws to end Labor’s revolving door of youth crime?
