Queensland Community Foundation Opens $7.2M in Grants for Eligible Charities
Queensland Community Foundation (QCF) has launched its 2026 grants program, offering a record $7.2 million to support charities across the state. Eligible organisations must hold Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR1) status to apply.
The program includes a General Fund with grants up to $40,000 for non-profits seeking to build capacity, improve governance, and expand services. Seven Regional Funds—covering areas like the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba/Darling Downs, and Northern Queensland—offer grants up to $30,000 for locally led projects that reduce disadvantage and strengthen communities. Charities may apply for multiple grants across both funds.
Applications are open now and close on 12 December 2025, with recipients announced in May 2026.
Local success stories from the 2024–2025 General Fund include Walk ‘n’ Talk Collective Inc and Roseberry Community Services Ltd, demonstrating the impact of QCF’s support in Queensland communities.
